We have heard all about SonicFire Pro from SmartSound Software for some time.  Many of have come to know this very cool technology from our days as Studio or Premiere users.  Well finally after several successful years selling the number 1 royalty-free music system for videographers and graphic artists, The folks from SmartSound Software have released their first tutorial on their flagship product SonicFire Pro.

Released officially at the 2005 NAB show in Las Vegas, "How To Make Winning Soundtracks witrh SmartSound Sonic Fire Pro" is a must have tutorial for all but the most experienced SFP user.

The tutorial requires a PC to run.  Its five chapters take the user through a basic introduction into SmartSound technology, through the User Interface.  Two projects are then created, one where you know how long your music clip needs to be and a second where you actually score a short video.  This is real world stuff and when you are finished with this tutorial, you are equipped to score your own movie.  The last section is made up of tips and tricks that show you how to exploit SFP for all that it is worth.

The quality of this disk scores a 10 out of 10.  As icing on the cake, the CD comes with a full version of SFP 3.2 to try out.  In addition, it comes with four brand new, editable pieces pieces of music for your SmartSound library.

If you want to master SonicFire Pro... the road starts here.

Recommendation:  What more can I say that I haven't already.  I have been using SmartSound for years and finally I am really learning how to use the software.
