What Is ALUG?

ALUG is short for Avid Liquid User's Group.  We are a collection of individuals who all share a common purpose of editing video with Avid Liquid  software.  Our membership ranges from beginners to video editing to Professionals who produce video for a living.  While the focus of our monthly meetings is centered around the Pinnacle Liquid NLE suite of products, we delve into all aspects of video production, including, preplanning, production and of course, post production.

How Much To Join?

Beginning January 1, 2005, the Carolina ALUG is instituting an annual membership dues.  Fees will go towards local expenses such as web hosting and meeting refreshments.  The dues are set at $20.00 for the year and will be collected on all returning members, beginning in January.  There is no charge for first-time attendees.
